WASHINGTON — Alexandria, Virginia police are investigating the city’s second homicide this year.

Leon Williams, 37, of Alexandria was shot on Belle Pre Way around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, police say.

He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Police are investigating and few other details are known.
