WEDNESDAY:
Rain, moderate to heavy at times; thunderstorms possible
Highs: 57-63
Winds: Southeast 10-15, Gusts to 25 mph
Grab the warm rain gear out the door today. Unseasonably cool weather is expected with temperatures holding steady in the upper 50s to low 60s. Keep in mind our average high for mid May is 78. Rain is likely and could cause isolated flooding. Over one inch of rain is possible along with a few thunderstorms.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT:
Overcast, scattered showers; areas of patchy fog
Lows: 53-59
Winds: Northeast 5 mph
It will remain wet and damp overnight with scattered showers continuing. Areas of patchy fog may develop, as well.
THURSDAY:
Mostly cloudy; scattered showers, storms
Highs: 60s
Winds: Northwest 5-10 mph
Another unsettled day is in store, so keep the rain gear on hand. Overcast skies in the morning will give way to a few peeks of sun. It won’t be a washout day, but plan for wet weather chances during the morning and afternoon hours. A few thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon, but no severe weather is expected. Drier weather is expected heading into the evening hours.
FRIDAY:
Partly sunny
Highs: 65-70
Winds: Northwest 5-15 mph
Drier weather settles in to round out the week with high temperatures remaining cooler than average to kick of the holiday weekend.
