Police in the City of Alexandria in Virginia confirmed that twin sisters Bailee and Mariah Fostion were returned home.
The 2-year-olds were last known to be with their noncustodial parent, John Gaddy III, on Aug. 29.
Just under three days passed between the request for the community’s help locating the children and the department confirming their return.
Police said that the toddlers are currently in the custody “of their rightful custodial parent.”
UPDATE: Thanks to the assistance of everyone in the community we are happy to say the toddlers have been returned safely to their rightful custodial parent.
