This roster is a real howl.
To celebrate the Washington Nationals’ historic World Series appearance — a Fall Classic they currently lead 2-0 over the Houston Astros — The Humane Rescue Alliance has named a group of puppies after the city’s players to show their support.
And while three of the Very Good Boys are no longer on the roster, Max Scherzer, Stephen Strasburg and Juan Soto, there are many more who need a home (plate).
I adopted one of these dogs! Stephen Strasburg is now a proud member of my family.

He's settling in well! Got a little sleepy watching his namesake pitch last night, but was happy for the win! So far, he's learned how to sit and loves pepperoni pizza. He says the are going to sweep, paws down, even if he's kind of scared of the broom.
