With the new 聽of the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City nearly finished, a聽number of 聽are preparing to open.
According to the mall鈥檚 website, D.C.-based is set to open its first Arlington location in August聽and candy-shop-slash-restaurant聽 is slated for an October opening of what will be its first D.C. area location.
A mall spokesman confirmed that the openings are nearing, but couldn鈥檛 confirm any dates.
鈥淢atchbox is slated to open later this summer and Sugar Shack is said to open in October, however the exact date is not yet confirmed,鈥� said the spokesman.
Also opening as part of the expansion is Philadelphia-based stir-fry chain , which聽will be launching聽its first D.C. area location.
鈥淪lated to open in early August, honeygrow will contribute to the mall鈥檚 extensive dining selection by聽providing shoppers with a variety of fully customizable stir-fry and salad options,鈥� said a recent press release. 鈥淟ocated in the new聽Hayes Street expansion, the eatery will feature locally and seasonally sourced ingredients, noodles聽freshly prepared by ramen chefs, house-made dressings and sauces and proteins sourced from providers聽including Creekstone Farms and Freebird.鈥�
The first tenant to open its doors in the new expansion was Shake Shack, which to large crowds.
