WASHINGTON — Chick-fil-A is adding a new item to its breakfast menu for the first time in six years, but apparently at the expense of an already popular breakfast sandwich.
Chick-fil-A’s new egg white grill, starting at $3.35, includes a smaller “breakfast-sized portion” of grilled chicken breast, egg whites, and cheese on a multigrain English muffin. It has 300 calories and 25 grams of protein.
 that Chick-fil-A is also getting rid of its spicy chicken biscuit, which as necessary to make room for the egg white grill.
In order to bring new flavors to the menu, the Spicy Chicken Biscuit has been removed to make room for the Egg White Grill.

Chick-fil-A said it’s adding the egg white grill after getting positive feedback from customers in test markets.
Chick-fil-A entered the fast food breakfast battle in 1986 with its chicken biscuit.
