Fight Night will feature Foreigner

WASHINGTON — Fight For Children’s big annual fundraiser, Fight Night, is Nov. 10 this year, and the headline entertainment will be ’70s classic rockers Foreigner.

Other performers will include “America’s Got Talent” season 11 finalist Sal Valentinetti, Sugar Hill Gang, Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five, E3 and DJ Yoshi.

“We’ve made a conscious decision to elevate the experience for our partners and guests,” said Keith Gordon, chief operating officer of Fight For Children. “The level and quality of entertainment each year should also reflect that commitment.”

Fight Night, held every year at the Washington Hilton, is Fight For Children’s main annual fundraiser.

Fight for Children was founded 26 years ago to marshal resources for children from low-income communities in D.C. Its early childhood education program, called Joe’s Champs, operates in 17 schools. It is named after the late Joseph Robert Jr., who created Fight for Children and Fight Night in 1990.
