Four Seasons, Inn at Little Washington earn 5 stars from Forbes

WASHINGTON — The annual Forbes Travel Guide gives Washington just one five-star hotel, though a second one is a brief road trip away.

The 2017 guide awarded its top rating to The Four Seasons Hotel, in the District. Forbes also awarded its five-star rating to Plume, the contemporary French restaurant at the Jefferson Hotel (one of seven hotels in the District to earn a four-star rating from Forbes).

The Inn at Little Washington, in Washington, Virginia, won five-star ratings from Forbes for both its hotel and its restaurant.

Forbes assigned four-star ratings to three hotels in Northern Virginia. None in D.C.’s Maryland suburbs won the top award.
