WASHINGTON 鈥� Politics and Prose, a literary staple in D.C. for more than three decades, will open a second location this fall at Union Market near the NoMa-Gallaudet- Metro stop in Northeast D.C.
Former Washington Post reporters Bradley Graham and Lisa Muscatine six years ago.
The Politics and Prose outpost “will be smaller than P&P’s main store, but big enough to carry a wide range of books and non-book items,” the owners said in a statement.
The new location will also host author events that can be held in an event space attached to the new store, or in the Dock 5 Warehouse venue at Union market for larger, ticketed author discussion events.
The owners say they are also considering classes, workshops and children鈥檚 activities at the new location.
