Wendy’s now comes to you in DC

WASHINGTON — Wendy’s has joined the list of fast food joints that deliver, expanding its deal with DoorDash to all 48 markets that DoorDash serves, including D.C.

Taco Bell is already on DoorDash’s menu in some markets, though not in D.C. McDonald’s delivers in the District through UberEats.

“Rolling out delivery has quickly progressed, along with demand for convenience and delivery trends,” said Liz Geraghty, Wendys’ vice president of customer activation.

“There’s no better partner for Wendy’s than DoorDash — one of the fastest growing delivery platforms and one with a reputation of maintaining food quality and high customer satisfaction,” she said.

DoorDash limits the radius a customer can order from a Wendy’s so the food gets delivered as fresh as possible, according to Wendy’s.

Wendy’s tested DoorDash delivery in its corporate hometown of Columbus, Ohio, and in Dallas, Texas, earlier this year.
