House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says the House will vote Thursday on a war powers resolution that would require congressional approval of new military action against Iran.
Pelosi in statement Wednesday notes concerns related to Trump administration鈥檚 briefing to Congress.
鈥淭oday, to honor our duty to keep the American people safe, the House will move forward with a War Powers Resolution to limit the President鈥檚 military actions regarding Iran. This resolution, which will be led by Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin, will go to the Rules Committee this evening and will be brought to the Floor tomorrow,” Pelosi said in the statement.
