WASHINGTON — They stand in mute testimony to the victims of gun violence last year: 155 T-shirts, each with the name of someone killed by a gun in the area, as well as their date of death.

It’s a temporary display at 15th Street Presbyterian Church, on 15th and R Streets in Northwest, and the shirts are white to signify D.C.; light blue for Maryland and yellow for northern Virginia.

There’s also a display for the nine victims of the shooting last month at Emmanuel AME Church, in Charleston, South Carolina.
