WASHINGTON —聽A woman, who appeared to have a knife, was shot in the chest by a police officer Saturday in Washington, D.C., .
There was no word on her or the officer’s condition.
According to Metropolitan Police, the shooting occurred in the聽5300 block of Clay Terrace Northeast,聽which is near Division Avenue, just north of east聽Capitol Street.
