4 injured after shootings, stabbing in D.C.

WASHINGTON — Four men are injured after two separate shootings and a stabbing early Thursday morning.

D.C. Police were first called to a shooting in the 4700 of Benning Road SE just before 1 a.m.

Two men were shot, as well as some nearby cars.

Both men were taken to a hospital but their conditions were not immediately known.

Then, just before 1:30 a.m. there was a stabbing during an armed robbery on the 4200 block of East Capitol Street NE.

A man was taken to a hospital for his injuries, but his condition was not immediately known.

And then around 3:40 a.m., another shooting was reported. This time in the 4200 block of 4th Street SE.

Police say a man was approached by a suspect before being shot. He was taken to a hospital with nonlife threatening injuries.
