Man arrested for firing shots at police cruiser

WASHINGTON — A man has been arrested after D.C. Police say he fired shots at a police cruiser Wednesday night.

Police say it happened on Mellon Street near Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Southeast, D.C. a little before 6 p.m.

None of the shots fired hit the cruiser. Police say there were no reported injuries.
