Ticket distribution will begin 8:30 a.m. Sunday at the Washington Monument Lodge, located on 15th Street between Madison and Jefferson drives.
National Park Service spokesman Mike Litterst said in an email that technicians had fixed the elevator on Saturday.
Problems were traced to a faulty power supply that caused occasional elevated electrical current levels. , Litterst said.
