WASHINGTON 鈥� A transgender woman who was shot on the Fourth of July has been pronounced dead Wednesday, D.C. police say.
Deeniqua Dodds, 22, was suffering from聽a gunshot wound, and was found unconscious and breathing聽in the 200 block of Division Avenue Northeast on July 4. Sixth District police officers聽reached her around 3 a.m. after being flagged down.
Dodds died after nine days of being on life support, 草莓传媒’s television news partner.
