WASHINGTON — Smithsonian’s National Zoo has an adorable addition to its sea lion exhibit.

A female California sea lion pup — named Catalina — born on June 26 made its public debut in the exhibit this week. Catalina is the first sea lion pup s, the zoo said in a Friday release.

Since Aug. 22, the new pup has been getting used to the exhibit she shares with her mother, 11-year-old Calli and two unrelated females named Summer and Sidney.
