WASHINGTON 鈥� A Falls Church man was聽arrested Saturday for allegedly groping a woman near Georgetown University, officials said.
D.C. police officers were on patrol when they saw a man following a woman closely on Prospect Street around 1 a.m. The officers said they witnessed聽the man grope the woman.
The suspect ran off, but police caught up with the man,聽34-year-old Sergio Velaquez-Cardozo. He is being charged with third degree sex abuse, officials said.
Police have not determined if this case is connected with other sex assaults in the area in recent weeks.
