WASHINGTON — The woman charged with driving recklessly near the Capitol last week and crashing into a police cruiser is headed in front of a judge.
A federal grand jury charged Mia Hill, who has used the name Taleah Michelle Everett in court, with eight offenses stemming from the incident .
The federal charges include counts of assaulting, resisting or impeding federal officers with a dangerous weapon and destruction of property.
The 20-year-old is also facing charges in D.C. and is being held without bond.
She’s scheduled to appear Tuesday afternoon for a detention hearing before a magistrate judge.
