WASHINGTON — The woman charged with driving recklessly near the Capitol last week and crashing into a police cruiser is headed in front of a judge.
A federal grand jury charged Mia Hill, who has used the name Taleah Michelle Everett in court, with eight offenses stemming from the incident聽.
The federal charges include counts of assaulting, resisting or impeding federal officers with a dangerous weapon and destruction of property.
The 20-year-old is also facing charges in D.C. and is being held without bond.
She’s scheduled to appear聽Tuesday afternoon for a detention hearing before a magistrate judge.
