WASHINGTON 鈥� A man is seriously wounded after he was shot in the face Saturday.
It happened around 11:30 p.m. near the Mayfair Mansions Apartments in the 3500 block of Jay Street in Northeast D.C.
Police received a call about a shooting and found a man who had been shot. The victim was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital.
D.C. police have not released information on a suspect or cause of shooting.
