WASHINGTON 鈥� Two men who escaped the “secure area” of a D.C. hospital Thursday while receiving treatment, were arrested several hours later and charged with prisoner escape, D.C. police said.
Eric Calvin Rucker, 49, and Christopher Taylor, 29, were located and re-arrested Thursday, police said in a news release.
Rucker was initially wanted by the U.S. Marhals Service for parole violation, police said. Taylor was wanted by the Montgomery County Police Department for robbery, police say.
The hospital the pair escaped from is located at the 1300 block of Southern Avenue in Southeast D.C. It was formerly the Rehabilitation Center of Washington.
