17-year-old arrested in fatal Northeast DC shooting

WASHINGTON — A D.C. teen has been arrested in Wednesday morning’s fatal shooting in Northeast.

Titus Iracks, 17, of Southeast D.C., was arrested and charged with first-degree murder while armed in the death of Larry Harrell, 43, of Northeast D.C., police said Wednesday afternoon.

Responding to a reported shooting shortly before 1 a.m. in the 1200 block of Mount Olivet Road, police discovered Harrell suffering from a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.

D.C. police continue to investigate.
