WASHINGTON 鈥� The Play Ball Park, happening just across from the Nationals Park, is packed with free food, activities and music throughout the weekend ahead of the All Star game on Tuesday.
Young baseball fans competed in the Color Run on Saturday.
“I enjoyed it, I like running in front of the people that were squirting the colors,” said Cole Willis.
Lori Gunter and the kids came all the way from West Virginia.
“We knew this would be a once in a lifetime opportunity to take in the All Star events,” said Gunter.
The Play Ball Park features food trucks, a pitching practice area, a music stage and free food. The park will be open throughout the weekend.
While covered in paint, Willis was already talking about the next big event.
