Will Ryan endorse Trump?

WASHINGTON — House Speaker Paul Ryan is reportedly poised to endorse Donald Trump for president, CBS ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ and Ìý°ù±ð±è´Ç°ù³Ù.

An endorsement by Ryan is likely to be seen as a sign the GOP is uniting after its divisive primary.

It is not clear when the endorsement will take place, according to ABC ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½.

While CBS ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ reported on its hourly news that the endorsement will come Wednesday, CBS ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ Correspondent Nancy Cordes told ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ a top aide to Ryan told her that there is no update.

“The Ryan camp has not told the Trump camp to expect any kind of endorsement and that things are still were they have been,” Cordes said.

Ryan still has concerns about Trump’s positions, Cordes said.

“This could be the Trump camp trying to sort of pressure Ryan into making an announcement, an endorsement, saying he’s close. On the other hand, it could be that Ryan himself is inching toward this endorsement, not because he suddenly doesn’t have any differences with Trump, but because he feels it’s worse for the party if he continues to hold out,” Cordes said.
