Stephen King: Del Toro’s new film is ‘f-ing terrifying’

WASHINGTON — If anyone knows horror, it’s Stephen King.

The prolific author has had his share of books adapted to the big screen, from “Carrie” (1976) to “The Shining” (1980) to “Misery” (1990).

Now, he’s lending a glowing endorsement to Guillermo del Toro’s new movie, “Crimson Peak.”

King tweeted his affection this week (Warning: contains explicit language):

He then elaborated with another tweet:

The film stars Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chastain.

It arrives October 16, 2015.
