WASHINGTON — A woman was hospitalized after falling 40 feet off a cliff Sunday at聽Scott’s Run Nature Preserve in McLean, Virginia.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue officials said the incident happened at around 1:20 p.m. The woman fell in a remote section of the park and had to be airlifted聽to the hospital.
During the rescue, fire officials said the woman’s聽injuries were聽life-threatening, but her condition was unclear at the time this article was updated Sunday afternoon.
Another person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
