WASHINGTON — A former spokesman for the Fairfax County Police Department was sentenced to six months in prison for possession of child pornography, .
William “Bud” Walker was fired in April 2015Â as a result of an investigation that tracked the server of an account depicting child pornography to his address in Fairfax.
Walker has been out on a $15,000 bond since April 2015, NBC Washington reported. He to 10 counts of child pornography on May 23, 2016.
Walker will also have two years of supervised probation after his prison sentence, and he must register as a sex offender, NBC Washington reported.
