WASHINGTON 鈥� A gas main leak caused major traffic delays near聽George Mason University Friday.
Va. 123 at Braddock Road and surrounding areas near George Mason University reopened to traffic around 4 p.m., after a gas line caused the roads to close around 9 a.m.
A construction crews in the area hit a gas line Friday morning, Fairfax County police said.
Washington Gas says there聽weren’t聽any evacuations as of 11:15 a.m.,聽and there is no disruption of service.
