Flurry of ‘winter restaurant weeks’ hit DC area

WASHINGTON — Looking for a way to break up the gray days of winter? Restaurant Week can help with that.

The biannual promotion, offered at hundreds of restaurants in the D.C. area, allows diners the opportunity to indulge in three-course dinners at some of the city’s best eateries for $35 ($22 for lunch or brunch).

Highly acclaimed restaurants including Arroz, 2941, Del Mar, Hazel, Raskia and Sfoglina are included in this year’s list of participants.

The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington’s Winter Restaurant Week runs Jan. 22-28. Information on menus and reservations is available on the .

Alexandria, Virginia is hosting , Jan. 26-Feb. 4, with more than 60 participating restaurants; Fairfax City, Virginia, launches its March 4-10.

Bethesda, Maryland’s continues through Jan. 21.
