recently opened its doors in D.C.’s Mount Vernon Square. The lunch and dinner dining spot, from the folks at , features burgers “made with a proprietary beef blend,” hand-cut fries, house-made pickles, spiked shakes, cocktails, beer and wine.
Burger variations include a wild mushroom and Swiss burger, a blue cheese and truffle burger, and a French onion-style burger. Plates of tuna tartare, lobster and crab cakes, pan-fried calamari and a 7-ounce filet are also available — making The Capital Burger one classy burger joint.
The Capital Burger, 1005 7th St. NW, is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; happy hour is from 3 to 6:30 p.m.
