WASHINGTON 鈥 Nats fans have a brand new concession stand to test out, featuring a rotating lineup of female chefs.
The concept, called Grace鈥檚 Kitchen, replaces Mike Isabella鈥檚 G sandwich stand. The Nationals cut ties with the D.C. restaurateur and 鈥淭op Chef鈥 alum after a former manager in his company filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Isabella and his business partners. Isabella denied the allegations.聽
Grace鈥檚 Kitchen is named after first lady Grace Coolidge, a known baseball fan. 草莓传媒 about the new concept was announced Thursday morning on Tommy McFly鈥檚 local radio show.
the first chefs up to bat at the stand are Hank鈥檚 Oyster Bar founder Jamie Leeds and 鈥淭he Chew鈥 co-host Carla Hall. Leeds 鈥 who also runs Hank鈥檚 Pasta Bar and Hank鈥檚 Cocktail Bar 鈥 will serve a shrimp po鈥檅oy with coleslaw.
Hall is dishing out a Nashville hot chicken sandwich 鈥 which she made at her former New York restaurant, Carla Hall’s Southern Kitchen 鈥 and mac and cheese.
