WASHINGTON — Hungry for summer? Yeah, so are we. Here’s a roundup of summer food and drink festivals taking place this season throughout the D.C. area.

Saturday, June 15Ìý This annual multicity touring event stops at National Harbor for a weekend in June. Expect more than 60 beers, more than 40 bourbons and lots of barbecue. (Getty Images)

Saturday, June 22Ìý Catch a waterfront beer garden from Port City Brewing Company, plus pop-ups from Pizzeria Paradiso, Rockland’s BBQ and Dolci Gelati at Alexandria’s summer cultural festival. June 22 and 23Ìý One of the biggest food events in the D.C. area, the Giant National Capital Barbecue Battle brings two days of culinary demonstrations, grilled meats and cooking competitions to the nation’s capital. Plus, more than 30 bands will perform throughout the weekend. (Getty Images)
