WASHINGTON — A construction聽accident left one worker dead and another injured at the future site of Sugarloaf Elementary School in Urbana, Maryland.
At 11:01 a.m. Monday, a scaffolding collapse dropped the workers approximately 25 feet to the ground, according to a news release from Frederick County Sheriff鈥檚 Office.
The surviving construction worker was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital to have a leg injury treated.
The Sheriff鈥檚 Office聽and Maryland鈥檚 Occupational Safety and Health are investigating.
