With Memorial Day weekend upon us, here is a list of summer sports activities to keep you entertained, no matter your sport preference.
Minor League Baseball

The obvious choice for outdoor sports entertainment, the Nats are finally living up to their billing as one of the top teams in baseball. With 63 home dates left, there are plenty of chances to catch them. Tickets range from as little as $5 for a walk-up, Grandstand seat to a 鈥淩egular Game.鈥

Ultimate Frisbee
May 23-July 11, Gallaudet University & Catholic University of America
D.C. is home to a pair of professional Ultimate Frisbee teams, the and the . Each have a handful of home games remaining, with the Breeze playing at Gallaudet and the Current at Catholic. Breeze tickets are $10 for general admission and Current tickets start at $14.

D.C.’s women’s professional soccer team competes all summer long at Maureen Hendricks Field. With the season already underway, the Spirit are tied for second in the nine-team National Women’s Soccer League table, and have multiple players competing in this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup. WASHINGTON — Memorial Day weekend is finally upon us, which means, for all intents and purposes, it is summer in the D.C. sports landscape. The Caps and Wizards may both be done for the year, but there are still plenty of different sporting events to enjoy in and around the District this summer.
