WASHINGTON — Police in Fairfax County, Virginia released video of the dramatic rescue of three Maryland construction workers trapped in a bucket under the Woodrow Wilson Bridge after tractor-trailer went out of control and struck a boom truck Wednesday, jamming up traffic across the region for 12 hours.

The video was taken from a circling helicopter and it includes audio of emergency responders.

Maryland State Police have yet to identify the tractor-trailer driver who was killed. The driver’s body has been taken to the medical examiner’s office for identification.
