WASHINGTON — Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan began his second round of cancer treatment Sunday.
Hogan, who has聽, was admitted to University of Maryland Medical Center, reports. About 100 people attended a candle light prayer vigil for Hogan at聽Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, according to The Baltimore Sun.
There was also an outpouring of support on social media.

On Sunday, Hogan thanked his supporters in a post on his Facebook page:

Hogan聽is expected to spend the next few days at the hospital for chemotherapy and will undergo four more rounds of treatments over the next three months, .
In June, the governor announced he had a “very advanced” and “very aggressive” form of聽 non-Hodgkin鈥檚 lymphoma, cancer of the lymph nodes. 聽to balance treatment with the demands of staying in office.
