Wondering what immunizations your child needs before attending school in Maryland this year?
- Kindergarten/First-grade Students: Two chickenpox vaccines
- Grade 7/Grade 8:聽One tetanus, diptheria and pertussis vaccine (Tdap Vaccine) and one meningitis vaccine (meningococcal聽vaccine)
Students who are not fully immunized on the first day of school聽must have a聽written exemption letter or proof of an appointment in the first 20 calendar days of school (for聽non-military families) and 30 days (for military families).
Students who are non-compliant after that time will not be allowed to attend school until they receive their immunizations.
