Residents still without water in Bethesda

WASHINGTON –ÌýUPDATE Sunday 10:30 A.M WSSC says all service has returned to Bradley BoulevardÌýresidents.

UPDATE Sunday 9:30 A.M.ÌýWater is slowly returning for Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC)Ìýcustomers on Bradley Boulevard in Bethesda, Ìýfollowing a second break on the same pipe around midnight Sunday — one hour after crews completed the first repair.

WSSC said it hoped to restore water to everyone by lunchtime.ÌýSunday marked the second day without water. ÌýWSSC toldÌýÌý²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ that one apartment building was still Ìýwithout water service this morning.

On Saturday, eight apartment buildings had no water after the 62-year old pipe burst between Arlington Road and Wisconsin Avenue.Ìý

Update from WSSC: Sunday, 1 a.m.

Bradley Boulevard is blocked between Chevy Chase Drive and Offutt Lane. Pepco and WSSC crews were both on the scene as of 6 p.m. Saturday.
