WASHINGTON 鈥� A 4-year-old boy is recovering after falling out the window of a Montgomery County apartment complex Wednesday evening.
The boy fell from a window on the eighth floor of an apartment building in the 1100 block of Old Columbia Pike in Silver Spring, Maryland, at about 5:30 p.m.
Emergency crews transported the boy to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, says Montgomery County Police spokeswoman Blanca Kaling.
The boy sustained a broken arm and an injury on his eyes, but he is expected to be OK, Kaling says.
It is unclear at this time why he fell out the window.
