WASHINGTON 鈥� Montgomery County, Maryland, police are investigating a woman鈥檚 suspicious death in her home.
Officers found the woman’s body Wednesday morning in the apartment, located in the 3600 block of Bel Pre Road in Silver Spring, while doing a welfare check.
The body聽had apparently suffered trauma, police said.
Authorities have taken the body to Maryland鈥檚 Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy. Anyone with information regarding the death should contact Montgomery County police鈥檚 Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5700.
