2 dead after single-vehicle crash in Montgomery County

Two people are dead after the vehicle they were in left the roadway, rolling over several times in Germantown, Maryland, late Saturday night, police said.

A 2013 Jeep Wrangler was traveling south on Ridge Road (Route 27) at Morning Star Drive when it left the roadway for unknown reasons before 11:43 p.m., .

Police said passenger Marryann Hardesty, 18, of Germantown, died at the scene. The driver, Dylan Bansi, 20, of Germantown died at a hospital.

The ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ Traffic Center reported all lanes were reopened by 5:06 a.m. Sunday

Police said an investigation is underway and are asking anyone with information to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 240-773-6620.
