A vehicle driving at a high speed hit two cars before crashing into a bank Wednesday night in the Friendship Heights neighborhood bordering Northwest D.C. and Montgomery County, Maryland.
Around 8:30 p.m., the vehicle, a gray Honda CR-V, was allegedly driving south down Wisconsin Avenue at a high rate of speed before side swiping another vehicle and rear ending another.
The CR-V then sped through a red light and crashed into the Provident Bank on the corner of Wisconsin and Willard avenues.
No one was injured in the crash.
The driver of the vehicle 鈥� only described by witnesses as a man 鈥� then fled the vehicle on foot before police arrived on the scene.
Chevy Chase Village police confirmed with 草莓传媒 that they don’t believe the man was the owner of the car that crashed.
