WASHINGTON — Runners in the will jam聽to alternative rock trio, .
Organizers announced the band will headline the March 14 event.
The New Orleans band, which made it big聽in the 90s with hits such as 鈥淕ood鈥� and 鈥淒esperately Wanting,鈥� will perform at the free at the Finish Line Festival, organizers say.
Other performers for聽the Finish Line Festival have not yet been announced.
The DC Rock 鈥楴鈥� Roll races will feature other live performers on the course from a variety of music styles.
If your band is ready to jam for joggers, organizers are 聽for course performers.
The DC Rock 鈥楴鈥� Roll marathon and half marathon beginning at 7:30 a.m. March 14 on聽Constitution Avenue at 14迟丑听Street NW.
There is also a DC Rock 鈥楴鈥� Roll 5K, which begins at RFK Stadium Lot 7.
