Metallica to livestream pre-tour rehearsal from Baltimore

WASHINGTON — Metallica starts its World Wired Tour on Wednesday night at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium, but you can get a glimpse of what the band’s got in store Tuesday night online.

One of the band’s managers said that this would be the band’s first streamed rehearsal. They’ve broadcast preshow jams and warmup sessions, said Marc Reiter, but “this is a true rehearsal in a concert setting, where the band are feeling out their new stage for the upcoming stadium tour, and inviting the fans to have a brief look at the process.”

As for the timing of the rehearsal, Reiter said, “Tonight is the final rehearsal before the first show of the summer tour, so if they’re not ready now …”
