Police: ‘Multiple gunshot victims’ in Odessa, Texas, after suspect shoots at random

Police say there are “multiple gunshot victims” after a suspect hijacked a mail truck in Odessa, Texas, and is shooting at random.

Police departments in Western Texas are alerting residents of an active shooter and are urging them to stay off the roads and use extreme caution.

The said that a subject is driving around in a hijacked U.S. mail carrier truck while shooting at random people.

The said in a Facebook post there were additional reports of an active shooter at a Home Depot in Odessa.

Midland police said there are two shooters in two separate vehicles, one of them a gold/white small Toyota truck and the other a postal van.

Midland is 20 miles away from Odessa.
