WASHINGTON – A woman dies from heart disease roughly every minute of every day and the victims are getting younger.
In honor of February being American Heart Month, ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ held a live chat with Washington cardiologist, Dr. Susan Bennett ()
Bennett is president of the Association of Women’s Heart Programs, which works to educate the medical profession about important gender-related issues in women and cardiovascular disease. She is also on the Scientific Advisory Board of the WomenHeart:The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease.
