WASHINGTON – Prince William County Board of Supervisors Chairman Corey A. Stewart announced he will be running for lieutenant governor, .
Stewart was on ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½radio 1070 WINA in Charlottesville Monday when he said he would be running for the office.
He said he would make a formal announcement later in the year.
Stewart is well known for his vocal criticism of the Department of Homeland Security.
He has said on ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½’s program the DHS has knowingly released illegal immigrant criminals without collaboration with local authorities.
Prince William County filed a lawsuit against DHS in an attempt to get the agency to turn over records on .
