WASHINGTON – Think twice before tossing out those old toys.
Remember those Star Wars collectibles from 1977 that sold for just a few dollars back then? These days, a Darth Vader with light saber can net $6,000.
Karl Hall of the Treasure Hunters Road Show says there is gold in that toy chest.
“You think it’s worth a little bit, think it’s got a little bit of value. It might be worth $5 or $5,000,” he says. “You just never know.”
And what about GI Joe dolls? Those can go for as much as $2,500.
