WASHINGTON – Drivers should expect major delays in and around the District on Saturday.
Thousands of runners will , and dozens of live bands will perform at just about every mile marker along the route on Saturday.
From Anacostia to Columbia Heights, and from Foggy Bottom to Capitol Hill, road closures will begin as early as 3 a.m. on Saturday and stay in effect until at least 2:30 that afternoon.
All roads will be closed. Major roads, including Connecticut and Constitution avenues, as well as North and East Capitol streets, will be closed.
Metro will open one hour early on Saturday at 6 a.m., but riders will likely as the Orange, Blue and Green lines will be single-tracking.
